Raised with many siblings and stories on a farm in South Tyrol, she has been interested in humans, environment, language and identity since she was a child. Half of her life, she has been spending at the University of Vienna. After making a detour to research and teaching, she decided that it would be more fun to report on the research of others. And that is what she is still passionate about.
